SendSpace Wizard

If you need to transfer huge files over the Internet, you can turn to various online services. An excellent example is SendSpace, which comes with a useful desktop application called SendSpace Wizard. Besides the fact that it enables you to upload huge amounts of data from the comfort of your desktop, the software allows you to manage the uploaded data as well. Furthermore, the program provides you with the means of sharing your uploaded data.

The software is absolutely free, just like the sharing service. It is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X and it can be installed in no time. You don't have to install any prerequisite tools for SendSpace Wizard and you don't need to sacrifice too many resources.

SendSpace Wizard looks and feels like a FTP client. You can browse through your local files and folders on the left half of the user interface and through your uploaded data on the right half. Files can be uploaded by simply clicking and dragging them from one side to the other. The transfer status for each file and an activity log can be found in the lower region of the interface, on separate tabs.

You can browse through your uploaded files and folders normally, as if you were browsing through your local data. This includes creating new folders and dragging and dropping files into folders. Right clicking an uploaded file or folder will reveal options for downloading the item, copying a share link to the clipboard and others. You can either copy the aforementioned link and give it to someone or you can send email invitations for that item, to specific people.

The software comes with various controls, to make your work easier and more comfortable. A particularly useful feature is the possibility of setting upload and download speed limits, to prevent SendSpace Wizard from using up valuable bandwidth.
